    <description>&lt;P&gt;It depends on the type of work you do. For simple parts it's just a personal preference. You can machine complex parts with both, but using cycle programming you take more advantage of the control functionality. It will also depend what options you have available on your machine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;yea. he wants a lot of money for a post for an 20 year old machine. i've managed to make an MTD file, and converted two post to it. one on ISO code and one on Heidenhain code. it wasn't that hard, and i'd have to bug check either way one the machine is in. was just wondering if there was a benefit to one style over the other.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
