How I would do this is to

create a pattern….
select the surface you’re wanting to engraving

select pattern > right click > insert > model.
either transform pattern so it’s on the edge of where it starts or you can just offset it in the program.
create tool path “Pattern finishing”

change in the toolpath drive curve to your pattern…

ordering to fixed direction

make z -.01 if pattern is from the top of where you want to engrave .

in this I used a nine9 chamfer tool . In powermill its drawn as drill so it can get everything . If tool doesn’t come to a point then I wouldn’t recommend the way I’m doing it .

When we have to do something like this we use 3D Offset Finishing with a selfmade cutter from an old or even broken solid carbide milling tool. This got 4 faces like a very steep pyramid (7,5 to 15 degrees) and the tip is cut at a diamond grinding wheel to a very small 5th face. We calculate the toolpath with a taperspherical tool which has an approximately according tip radius. Looks like this:

The simulation will show that perhaps more than one step is necessary to engrave the whole depth. And different to the normal setting the cut direction should be set to "conventional" to get a climbing toolpath at the material to be removed. We use a simple userdefined boundary from the purple faces after deleting the outer element.

will this cutter will work with 0.6 depth of cut ?!

That depends on what material you want to engrave and how large the corner radii can be (this is important for how large the 5th face can be).
