Not really full automation, but I've completely rebuilt the interface to assist with the programming department to standardize all toolpath creation without having to rely on templates. It's all hardcoded back end with a third party custom software that allows quick and easy changes to toolpath parameters.

They find that their programming speed for non-production style parts to be significantly faster using this. Instead of making 1000+ templates for various settings and tool structures, this UI allows for full customized toolpaths that adjust based on the tooling selected.

There are various other custom UI's that I have made and implemented as well as full process automation for parts that are similar to each other. (eg. small components with slight detail differences)

I've also coded in mobile integration that allows the programmers to create and modify sessions on the fly, on the floor, from their phones without having to go back and forth between the office and the floor. (Used mainly for adjusting or adding additional programs while troubleshooting on the floor.)
