Unsafe segment removal page to remove small toolpath segments to prevent tool damage when using non-centre cutting tools. When machining into small pockets, removing small segments stops the central, non-cutting underside of the tool from hitting non-machinable material. Please click on the mentioned link which will guide you all about Unsafe segment removal.

Unsafe Segment Removal

Try this calculation. Hope this will calculate the threshold value.

(Tool Diameter - Tip radius x 2) / Tool Diameter
Tip radius is multiplied by 2, because there are 2 tip radiuses.

thanks for your reply,

I tried with based on your calculation I couldn't able to understand.

ex: my hole diameter is 20.00 mm I used 12r2.0bull I think TDU value is 0.6666 is't correct , suppose when I have given the value it may be enter the pocket ,kindly share the video example it will help us .
