Tool numbering problem.

Hello guys,

I have faced a tool numbering problem. when I make a tool with a 5-digit tool number, powermill 2019 ultimate changes the number to only 2-digit automatically like 13120 to 13.

the system is intel i7 2gen with windows 7 x64. I already reinstalled powermill 3 times and OS too, but it still has the problem.

probably, powermill has a setting for defining tool numbering process. other systems doesn't have any problem.

would you please give a hint?

Have you updated Powermill 2019 to the latest version? I had a renumbering issue with the first couple of releases as well but was fixed with the update. Try updating and see if it solves your issue if you have not.

at this moment, I can get only one solution, updating, but i am curious that other systems doesn't have any problem with same PM version.

The issue lies within Microsofts C++ runtime library as stated from @nick-poole in this topic.

The other systems may have the version that is needed, updating to the latest Powermill version installs that particular runtime file.
