PowerMill 2018 crashes when editing a toolpath

Hi,

Most of the time when I'm editing my toolpath, PowerMill crashes.

It always happens when I select one or some cutting when and use Right-click -> Edit -> Delete Selected Components.

Any help would be much appreciated as this is driving me mad, and I am getting fed up of reloading my project every 5 minutes.

Hi @Anonymous, can you please open a support ticket and we'll look into it. If you know them, clear steps for reproducing the problem really helps. Or record a video of the sequence that shows the problem.

Can you tell me the exact version of powermill (HELP > ABOUT)

Also your graphics card and driver info (right click desktop > nvidia control panel > system information)

First thing's first, please update PowerMill 2018 to the latest version: 2018.1.5.1212169

If that's unsuccessful, you could try changing the global preset for your driver:

Right click desktop > nvidia control panel > 3d settings > manage 3d settings > global presets > 3D APP - VISUAL SIMULATION > Apply (restart PowerMill and try again).

If that's unsuccessful, you could try updating your graphics driver or even rolling back the driver to a version around 340...

Forgot to mention, the PC has been provided, installed and set up by Delcam.

Yep, I've updated to 2018.1.5 and this issue is now fixed.
