Can't renumber points when using Revit 2019

Every time I try to renumber my points in Revit 2019 using APL, I keep getting this error "Index and length must refer to a location within the string. Parameter name: length".

I don't get this error when I export points from Revit 2018.

Hello cbowker, I was actually made aware of this error just earlier this week and was able to reproduce it. A fix for it will be in the next update, but I do not yet have a release date I can provide. In the meantime the only option unfortunately is manual renumber, or if using Revit 2018 or earlier, using APL 2018 to renumber.

I would but we already started the project in Revit 2019 and I can't go in reverse now looks like I will have to suck and deal until the update.

So this was 7 months ago. Any ETA on this update? Really frustrating to have to manually renumber

Issue was found and fixed about 1 month prior to the 2019 R1 release, so should be in there. I will verify though and respond back if for some reason it is not. Regardless, please make sure you have installed the latest release.

When you say 2019 R1 are you referring to APL or Revit. We are using this in Revit 2018.3 and getting this error.

I have APL 2019.1.1000.2018.309

I mean APL, and that version # tells me you are on the original APL 2019 release, installing the R1 should fix you right up. Close Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks, download this, and install it over your current version, no need to uninstall first.

That was the version I downloaded off my files site two days ago. So it looks like ADESK has the old version posted. I don't see any updates on the site.

Where is this download location found. Outside BIM 360 downloads, which only presents the latest version of APL as 2020, I can only find the R1 versions in forum posts. Can you provide a URL to the updates page you're showing in the image you provided?

But note that new releases of APL work with many versions back for the design products, so unless you are on an old perpetual license, you really should just use APL 2020.
