Chris, under the start menu -> Autodesk ->Autodesk point Layout 2018 folder you will find a Autodesk Point Layout Preview Guide.pdf which should help you get started. It covers use within AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. After review if you have follow up questions, feel free to post them here.

Thanks,

Depends on design product in use:

Revit: There is a checkbox shown, Use Project formatting, which will match your project settings, otherwise it will use decimal feet.

AutoCAD: Displays based on document units, style changes though, Decimal for metric, Architectural for imperial.

Navisworks: based on overall documents Units

Thanks,

Hi,

I would like to view the manual on an iPad to determine if the software is suitable for purchase. Is there anyway that the PDF file can be made available without downloading the free trial? We are in the process of possibly shifting all our software from Bentley to Autodesk ,but this may not occur if I can’t find a suitable replacement for Bentley’s Geopak.

Regards,

Michael
