    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes to the latter.&amp;nbsp; Unload and XREF, purge REGAPPs, reload and blammo -they're back.&amp;nbsp; Insert a block?&amp;nbsp; Same thing.&amp;nbsp; You need to clean *all* your content.&amp;nbsp; That includes block libraries, XREFs, DWGs from outside sources.&amp;nbsp; Think of it like getting rid of the EDU stamp infection, or rogue annotation scales.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It shouldn't go the other way though - an affected host drawing shouldn't push REGAPPs to any XREFs.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I know that on occasion custom objects being viewed via the OE will not work if there is much dwg corruption.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do you suppose that OE could foul with only Regapps that need purged?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'm talking upwards of 50,000?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;And... once they are purged and believe the&amp;nbsp;drawing is in good health... what would cause them to return? Deeply nested objects or from XRefs. &amp;nbsp;Do Regapps transfer to the host dwg&amp;nbsp;through overlaid/attached Xrefs?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
