topic DEWIZAR'D? Visual Studio 2017 Add AcRxVariableReactor Class Fails in ObjectARX Forum

It used to be in a Visual Studio project that you could add an Arx Base class pretty easily. Now with the ObjectARX Wizard 2019 installed on VS2017, there appears to be no wizardy dialog assist to do so. When I specified the AcRxVariableReactor class, all I obtain is an error dialog that states the base class cannot be found. I have tried this on a couple of different computers with the same result. Repairing/Reinstalling the wizard doesn't fix this.

Is there a simple solution to this problem or do I have to purchase the professional support version?

Try to add rxvar.h from ObjectARX\inc to your project and create your class again.

If it was that easy by including the defines, I would have managed to solve that earlier. Its not that I have a problem creating a new class, its that the non-Wizard won't help me out to do so in an ARX project.

I did not write about #include "rxvar.h". I wrote about adding rxvar.h to the project:
