What am 'I" leaving out?! You folks are the one with the answers! I'm just trying to learn how to use Visual Studio Community 2019 to develop AutoCAD 2020 plugins. Simple as that. I've been following instructions. Step one - install Visual Studio. Step two - install ObjectArx. This is what I get: (see attachment). I get the same message when I try installing the Wizards. What's up with your install files! I'm not going to spend thousands of dollars to upgrade to a subscription service for Visual Studio! (Note: all lessons and instructions say the wizards WILL work with the free "community" version of Visual Studio.)

Steady. Anyone here without the Autodesk icon is just a user.

There isn't a need to install or use the wizards to create managet dotNET DLLs or unmanaged C++ ARX/CRXs. Just some knowledge of the language, VS IDE, and the references extracted from the SDK.

I can see I’m on my own here. AutoCAD subscription technical support is non-existent.

In order to using ObjectARX SDK 2020 and ObjectARX Wizard 2020 you have to install Visual Studio 2017 - not 2019 but 2017.

I tend to think you mean that VS2019 can't also be installed.

I'm having no luck using the Wizard installer even though I also have VS2017 installed.

You seem to are confusing with difference between ObjectARX SDK and ObjectARX Wizard. You have to previously install ObjectARX SDK 2020 before installing ObjectARX Wizard 2020. ObjectARX Wizard have to be installing with Administrator rights and UAC turned off.

Same propblem, i have VS2019, SDK 2022 and i installed objectARX Wizared 2022 as admin but not working!!

i do not find it when creating new C++ project ?

Any suggestions please?
