modeless dialog

i have a modal dialog,how do i convert it to modeless dialog?
i have searched many articals about it and got many examples,but they
haven't worked.
please give me a full solution,thanks a lot!

when i add a text style to acad database in a modeless dialog,it don't work
normally,why?

Did you lock the AcDbDatabase you working with ?...
