I haven't had chance to understand dwf yet. What is it all about ?
Can it be edited through internet ?
It would be nice to use AutoCAD via browser, due to increasing needs from PDM/PLM projects. Imagine AutoCAD + big dwg database on server side, on browser side (maybe several thousand miles away) user doesn't need to download or not authorized to own the dwg, but is allowed to browse it. This could bring huge convenience, I believe. This brings the possibillty of ASP as well, in which user lease the software, instead of buying it. Profit down for Autodesk? not necessarily true.

Is this in Autodesk's to-do list already ? or it's already there ? I'm waiting for such kinda products. What technolgies do you think it will involve developing this product ? I have my own thoughts...

Am I off topic ?
Autodesk had this before (2000 I think, maybe only in trials) and dropped
it, but was possibly going to bring it back with 2005. I think they use
Citrix to do it, but not sure. Check with your Autocad Dealer, they may
have to refer you to a Autodesk Major Account rep.
