Descriptors in AutoCAD 2006

Hi!
I wanted to run my application under AutoCAD 2006. However, I noticed that there is consistent
increase in overall number of descriptors with each command that I run. This leakage of descriptors occurs every time I start any my command or some built-in commands, such as FIND.
I know that there is no such bug in AutoCAD 2004 or 2005. Did you face this and do you know how to deal with the problem?

Vladimir wrote about handles. You can check its in Task Meneger or with
help of Process Explorer from sysinternals.com
Some AutoCAD command (such as LINE, CIRCLE, ets...) has not leaks of handles.
But CUI, LAYER and other has leaks. Simple arx-commands, than do nothing add
4 new handles every time it start. 😞 It is only in AutoCAD 2006 (without of with SP1).
AutoCAD 2004 and 2005 has not leaks.

Hi Alexander.

Have you noticed this with SP1 installed (I just checked, and
it does not happen to me)?

With commands that use NET (Layer, CUI), it is not too
suprising, and could be a problem in the .NET framework
just as easily as one in AutoCAD (less likely).

I just tried a simple ARX command that is registered using
acedRegCmds::addCommand() and it does not increase the
handle count (on SP1).

AutoCAD 2006 SP1 English.
Windows XP Prof SP1 Russian with all patches.

command defined with addCommand(), even if the
command handler does nothing and just returns?

I don't see that. I see the problem with LAYER and
CUI (both implemented in .NET), but not with a
simple ARX custom command.
