Distinguish between right click and enter?

I'm using acedGetPoint to accept user input. I'd like to be able to react differently depending on whether the user does a right click (cancel) or hits the enter key, however the return status is the same for both. I've checked the ERRNO system variable and it's also the same.
Is there another way to determine what the user did, without resorting to using the jig?

What I do is to add an Editor Reactor and react on
the beginRightClick() notification. I have a global variable called
"fRightClk". I set it to false before any call to acedGetxxx() and check
it's value when the call returns. In beginRightClick() notification, I
simply set the flag to true.

Turns out this doesn't quite work. Most of the time, the editor reactor fires before the call to acedGetPoint returns, but not all the time. So the result is inconsistent.

I use this technique all the time. As soon as
you right-click, acedGetPoint will return. The reactor is supposed to fire
first so that you can set the fRightClick flag. What exactly is not quite
working for you?

If the right mouse button issues a ^C, have you tried calling acedUsrBrk()
to detect a cancel?
