topic getModelToWorldTransform empty in ObjectARX Forum

Hello all,

Hopefully someone can shed some light on this - we have some custom entities that render relative to the current world transform (in order to preserve orientation, regardless of pushed transforms), and this works fine during a normal worldDraw.

However, when worldDraw is called when the document is saved and the regen type is kAcGiSaveWorldDrawForProxy to generate the geometry for the proxy graphics, the AcGiWorldDraw object that is supplied to the method returns an identity matrix when ->rawGeometry()->getModelToWorldTransform() is called, which in our case throws off the proxy graphics.

Is there any way to obtain the current world transform matrix during worldDraw when the regen type is kAcGiSaveWorldDrawForProxy?

Thanks muchly! 🙂
