I would look for the help file outlining the api. I use Electrical and the help file is located here.

C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2023\Acade\Help\en-US\Help\ACE_API.chm

I would imagine that yours has something similar.

-edit. acad comes with the api. It looks like you have to download an SDK. Look there. The help file should give you an indication of what dll's come with it.

Hello,

I am working thru an example I found on the AutoCAD DevBlog located here -->Plant 3D Example

After getting the code loaded into Visual Studio, I am missing some dlls that need to be referenced to my project.

I would like to know how do you determine which dll is required? My current approach is running a google search key terms such as “PlantProject” and/or “CurrentProject” shown in the screen shot. Then if I do not locate anything I start to manually add the dlls from AutoCAD Plant3D SDK until all the missing dlls are included in the project.

Is there a better approach to this?

I don't work with Plant3D, so this is a wild assed guess:
Have a look at

https://github.com/ADN-DevTech/Plant3DTraining/blob/master/Labs/LABS_Complete/LAB_01.cs

or perhaps have a look in this template:

https://github.com/ADN-DevTech/Plant3DTraining/blob/master/Tools/VSTemplate/plnt2015template_cs.zip

Regards,
