Deal with Proxy Elements

I am looking for a way to deal with proxy information. I get files from a client that have proxy data. I have not seen anything other than items classified as "Number of objects (no graphics)" and no data or graphics is missing, so I am not concerned about this. I always just hit okay.

I looked for a command line switch to launch these without this message but don't see one. I see a few other posts saying these are almost impossible to deal with. I see Giles talked about FINDZOMBIES and has a bit of code to get the object IDs I am going to start playing with.

I also get missing reference files and missing shapefile dialogs, but those have a "remember this setting" checkbox on the form. This one does not. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this?

Consider setting PROXYNOTICE sysvar == 0
