Hi,

You can access to a closed document database using the Database.ReadDdwg() method.

You can find a sample in the AutoCAD .NET Developer's Help >Develop Applications with VB.NET and C# > Handle Errors > Trap Runtime Errors > Use Try Statements
Hello,

I am quite new to AutoCAD but I have a long experience in developing Inventor add-ins. I want to retrieve some data (properties in general) from a drawing that it not opened. In inventor you can do this by using Open document invisible or ApprenticeServer. Is any of this options available in AutoCAD 2010?

Thank you so much,
