    <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't believe that there is any API that allows you to create model documentation views. There are apis that allow you to &lt;A href="https://help.autodesk.com/view/OARX/2023/ENU/?guid=OARX-ManagedRefGuide-Autodesk_AutoCAD_DatabaseServices_ViewBorder" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;query their properties&lt;/A&gt; but not create the views themselves.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sometimes the only way to get something done is by using commands which I'm afraid is your only option in this case.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am wondering, so Autocad has a command VIEWBASE and I'd prefer not to resort to calling commands from the code. Is there any way of creating baseviews of objects like you would if you were using this command&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;thanks for the reply, I did end up using the command in the end. It works fine, but it was still good that I asked, just in case there were other options&lt;/P&gt;</description>
