Just had to upgrade my machine and have the latest OS. I have a customized program for retrieving our drawings and just reinstalled the program from the disk. Now when I go to launch I get an error:

Run-time error '339':

Coponent 'DwgThumbnail.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid

Is this an issue with the new OS, AutoCAD (its a new installation of course), or the customized program? Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello cjuliano@julianoassociates.com,
Are you running Windows 7 64 or 32 bit? I've read about problems with the
DwgThumbnail.ocx being a 32bit control so it would cause problems with 64bit
Acad installations. There are a number of posts concerning this issue.

Michael - Thanks for the quick reply. What you have posted does make sense but I am running AutoCAD 2007 at the moment so there should not be an issue there. But your comment has sparked the answer. Since I needed to run AutoCAD in compatibility mode I tried the same with my software and that did the trick! Thanks for "smacking me in the head to realize my own dumb mistake".
