Solution was to install autocad as SYSTEM, since I was accessing the accoreconsole from SYSTEM. Funny thing was that accoreconsole was still accessible from SYSTEM user, but not the plotting functions.

I have a dll that is called from an exe which saves a plot as a png. The dll fails on the following call:

"SetPlotConfigurationName"

Should be noted, that I am running a version of Autocad 2016 on a server.

Also, I am making the call to the server through a webapp. The other functions in the dll work; for example, exporting a dwf or exporting an nwc. Again, the failure occurs in trying to save a plotter image.

Even more, if I logon to the server, and launch the exe from a terminal the plotter creates the correct plot. So, why can't I create the plot image from my webapp?

Thanks,

Daniel

It seems that if I try and run Autocad as user: SYSTEM, as opposed to ADMINISTRATOR, I am able to replicate the problem. Is there some security issue that does not allow autocad to plot from these credentials?

Thanks.
