My company uses .NET Reactor and I have done it two ways. My boss likes to set copy local = true and just set the working directory to the AutoCAD Directory.

I like to set copy local = false and on a successful build i copy my dll to a folder where I will use .NET Reactor. In that folder i manually copied the files that .NET reactor needs in order to run. Everything works fine after that.

using .net reactor product to protect code

I want to use .net reactor to protect code:

http://www.eziriz.com/dotnet_reactor.htm

Its super easy to use, you just add your files to a list, and hit protect.

Only problem is the acad dll's referenced are not found, as those are never "copy local" and it will not protect the dlls.

I emailed their support, but no response yet, and they Germany based.

Anyone tried that product and got it to work?

I could try setting copy local to true, but an not sure if that will cause problems later.

If we can get it to work, I think many other people should be using it as dll's are too easy to decompile so we get less commercial products created or shared for free.

thanks
