Hi, Everyone.

Is there a way to "tell" autocad to use carlson survey geo data as "GeoDataObject" ?

I've read this series about geo data in autoca: https://through-the-interface.typepad.com/through_the_interface/2014/09/translating-between-autocad-drawing-points-and-geographic-locations-using-net-part-1.html

Using this kind of geolocation requires setting a reference point. But we're using carlson survey for this purpose, and I'm trying to build some kind of automation around calculating geolocation data, but I can't find any information around this topic.

Maybe someone had similar experience or I should try completely different approach?

You might get better feedback from the civil3d customization forum.

Most of us do not have Carlson programs so do not know how to talk to them to do anything.

Do they have a com api or .net?

The nice thing is their team is responsive so likely better to ask them directly.
