count blocks as field in autocad

Id just like to know if there is a lisp/Diesel expression,

for counting a specific blocks then adding them as fields every time i refresh, refresh all or save the drawing.
for example i have 30 of 1 block with its specific name, I then have 31 as the legend counts in as 1 extra.
so something like this =countblocks((blockname) - 1)) and the "field" displays the number of blocks with that name(blockname) every time i refresh/refresh all/save.

Thank for you solutions but one of those is for MAC not PC, I've even tried it and and it doesn't work
and the other one only counts blocks if they are the same scale.
I've looked @ many solutions but some require another 3rd party program and most just don't work
I use a lot of fields and blocks in my drawings also use custom Diesel Expression and lisps. Ive looked all over is there no one who writes these "Diesel Expression and lisps" as Ive been looking at least once a year on many forums for a solution, for a couple of years now. and still nothing...
I hope something comes up .
