Hi,
we want to develop external application to read dwg file and update custom properties.

Can we make reference to above namespace available in acdbmgd.dll from autocad installed location?

Loading autocad and reading and updating takes more time.

Hi,

acdbmgd.dll (and others) are libraries only working inside AutoCAD (or AcCoreConsole). They can't be used outside AutoCAD in an external EXE.

Autodesk has a program that allows to edit DWG without installing/starting AutoCAD, named Autodesk RealDWG (besides of platform services), however, not free.
