Method to allow user to place block instance after importing block?

Hello,

I've implemented a method that lets users import a cad, .dwg, file from a part library plugin. After the import the file is imported as a block - would it be possible to then show the user the block for placement similar to how you get a thumbnail over the mouse when placing a block through the interface when using INSERT?

Thank you very much for the tip fieldguy!

I've implemented a method which grabs the inserted block and throws it into a Jig for user placement!
