Well, I am not from Autodesk, but my logical thought is that the accoreconsole.exe can only do what the version of AutoCAD , which it comes from, can do, because the coreconsole.exe is just an "interface app" to the core AutoCAD operation without UI. So, if the core AutoCAD is limited version, such as TrueView, or other type of AutoCAD OEM products, the coreconsole coming with it would also be function-limited. I'd think Autodesk would not be that thoughtless to give anyone a fully functioned AutoCAD coreconsole for free.

Hi,

Could anyone clarify if full AutoCAD needs to be installed in order to use accoreconsole.exe for drawing processing? DWG TrueView installs and uses accoreconsole.exe so i'm hoping the answer is no?

agreed, although my intention is to try to replicate myself what Autodesk does when creating PDFS of AutoCAD drawings from Vault. For Inventor drawings i can use Inventor Server which comes with Vault but having difficulty finding a way to create PDFS for AutoCAD drawings programatically without full AutoCAD. I'm pretty sure Vault uses the accoreconsole with TrueView to do this, just wondering if this is something i could also use.

If that doesn't work, you can buy Bluebeam relatively cheap and it has a great pdf printer driver, you could open the dwg in Inventor, then plot using the pdf driver.
