I am look for a more efficient way to trim my polar arrays for electrical toroid's .

To create my toroid, I make two circle as pictured above.

I then add a "lead" or wire. (above)

I then create my polar array.(again pictured above)

I then access the trim feature to trim the circle out of the "leads.

This is a very time consuming process, as some of the toroid's that I draw have many many leads.

Is their a faster way to trim the circle out of the leads?

Have you tried defining the "wire" or "lead" as a block that contains a WIPEOUT entity?

The circles would appear to be trimmed by the wire/lead, but in actuality, it is masked by the Wipeout.

Provided the wire/lead is moved to the front of the DrawOrder object stack.

Another suggestion, trim the circles inside two wires/leads. Look near the top in the following image.

Erase the larger remaining arcs.

Now pattern the arcs from the trim process.

When prompted for the center point, you can pick the center of one of the arcs from the trimmed circle.

Since you posted on the .NET forum, perhaps you were trying programmatically achieve this rather than performing manual operations. Please advise your intent.
