Quick Access Toolbar functions, but is invisible

On my Windows 10 computer, the Quick access toolbar is blank Both with Simulate 2016 and Freedom 2020. Quick Access toolbar in File Explorer is visible. The invisible buttons work, the tooltip is shown when hovering over them.

When the Quick Access toolbar is configured to be "below the Ribbon" then the buttons are visible.

Same computer with windows 7 did not have the problem with the same deployment of Simulate 2016

We're having the same issue, did you find a solution? Seems like a graphics card/acceleration issue at first to me...

After some more intricate google searching I found a blog post pointing at the WPF Hardware Acceleration display setting being the issue. (can't post link here for some reason)

Description of what WPF Hardware Acceleration is, from Navisworks help menu:
WPF Hardware Acceleration

WPF is the technology used to load the user interface framework. Select this check box to utilize any available WFP hardware acceleration on your video card.

Note: If your video card does not support WPF hardware acceleration, this check box is not available.

Making this change in 2021 fixes the issue and it sounds like we shouldn't see any major performance issues with turning the setting off based on what it is supposedly accelerating.

Change the windows color theme so that the active window is Grey or Purple and then the buttons became visible, if I remember correctly.

I have a video resolving that, but is in portuguese, but you can see the way to solve that
