Clash results are different depending run order

I stumbled across this... My clash results are different depending run order.

See image attached showing different numbers for clash results that are running the same settings, only the run order is switched (Selection A / Selection B). For example Civil vs Electrical shows 324 clashes where as Electrical vs Civil 163. The same applies to Civil vs Piping. I'm getting different results. I'm assuming they would be the same no matter what order I run them?

Is it only when you are clashing against Civil that you see this behavior?

I've tried duplicating the behavior that you are seeing but I am not seeing the same results. I am seeing the same number of clashes regardless of which order is used. In the image below, I am clashing Appended Revit data vs Civil 3D data and I used Navisworks Manage 2018.

I also tried this with another file that had Revit, Civil 3D and IFC data linked in.

If you take a look at the image I sent in my first message you'll see that its happening on Piping vs Civil and Electrical vs Civil, however, Piping vs Electrical match with 20 clashes either way.
I'm putting it down to the complexity of the model.
If you have any other ideas why this might be happening please let me know.
