Hello @kevin_fielding , I hope you are feeling well. This is possible if you first run your interferences in Navisworks. Once you have done that and they have been detected, you select some and frame them in your viewport and with the ISSUES section of Coordination, you register the ISSIE by filling in the form:

Once you fill in the form and finish, you will be able to see how the view you have framed is captured:

I hope you find it useful, greetings!

Model Coordination - Create Issue with Ghosting

The link between Navisworks and Model Coordination is an enticing one for the super users, however I'm not seeing parity in term of visual appearance of issues created from clashes in Model Coordination, and those raised from the Clash Detective in Navisworks.

Here's a issue raised through the Model Coordination Addin for Navisworks. The elements are isolated in the screenshot as you can see, but model view / camera position means the view of the issue is obscured.

However when I create an issue from a clash within the Model Coordination I get an extremely useful view with ghosted context.

How do I achieve the same results from Navisworks, or has this not been developed yet? Can you programmatically create issues in ACC / Model coordination that match the default appearance style of a Model Coordination Clash Issue?

I'm not 100% sure whether this should be a Model Coordination or Navisworks issue.

Any commentary would be useful.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply Didier,

I already know how to create issues in Navisworks and raise these to ACC, however they are not the same in the ACC platform. The clashed items are not isolated for the Navisworks issues, can you confirm that you're able to do this?

Hello, this is not possible unless you manually isolate the elements. This I showed is the closest you can get, the tools do not work exactly the same on the two platforms.

I hope you find it useful, greetings!
