      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am unable to open Inventor models due to this error. Attached screendump.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Navisworks Manage 2014 sp2&amp;nbsp;on Windows 8.1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Inventor 2014 Vault pro 2014&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Options =&amp;gt; filereaders =&amp;gt; Active project is set to the correct path and ipj.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas on what's wrong?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried reinstall NavisWorks - did'nt help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG title="Cant load.JPG" alt="Cant load.JPG" src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/201874i3B69DE9C111B2157/image-size/original?v=mpbl-1&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIA carstn&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Edit: both ipt and iam have this issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Save the assembly as a part in Inventor then export it out as a dwf or IFC or something. &amp;nbsp;Then append to navis.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Because Inventor 2014 is released at the same time or even a bit later than Navisworks 2014, it could be the case that Navisworks can only read ipt files of Inventor 2013 and below.&lt;BR /&gt;If you cannot "save as" your IPT in a lower format, try downloading the 30-day trial of Navisworks 2016 to see if that can open your IPT's. Then Navisworks 2016 can save as in the 2014 NWD file fomat.</description>

      <description>I can definitely say that this issue has nothing to do with being on 2014.&lt;BR /&gt;I have about 25 colleagues with the exact same setup who isn't experiencing this error. I think I'll do a total uninstall of Navisworks manage and retry from scratch.</description>
