Navisworks Manager -How to control AutoSave settings

Looking to have all users defaulting to a set amount of minutes on opening of the product. Longer than 15mins which is the default.

Anyone know how?

Export the Options file (limit it to this value if needed). They can either import that Options file, or you can set up a project and use that Options file as the default setting.

I usually provide a full-out options file for new users and those who have buggered around with their settings a little too much, as well as one that only includes a Quick Properties setting.

If I understand you correctly it would be a User who would need to import the options file OR relying on a User to use the correct Project with setting applied.

We would like to control the auto save centrally outside of Users needing to do anything. It needs to be controlled centrally so that whenever NW is opened the default is in place for all users/files. any ideas or more detail if I have mis-understood

Look into command line switches - there's one to specify an options file. Also look into Project and Site Directory settings.

Can't hurt to get users trained up on export/import of partial settings either. Chances are they're going to be doing that, if only for Quick Property settings.
