Hi,

There may be 2 reasons for that I can think of ;

1- The File Reader of Revit may not be set properly. To check this if you are opening revit file in Navisworks go to N-->Options-->File Readers-->Revit and check if the selection for Convert is Entire Project. If you are exporting nwc from Revit than Add-Ins-->External Tools-->Navisworks 20xx-->Navisworks Settings and check if the selection for Export is Entire Project.

2- Second and most probabale reson can be, in Navisworks after you select an element look to the Selection Tree and try to select one upper level of the element. The selection you made can have an icon like a cube and one level up may have an icon like a box and arrow above. Just try to go up or down in selection tree to find appropiate element. There are different Selection resolutions and you may not find all properties in the same Level. This resolution level of selection can be set by right clicking an element. Generally you will find the properties coming from Revit under Element tab.

Hope helps...

Thanks, Danielkazado,

My options where ok, I did not look in the selection tree. I needed to go up a noth to find the properties i needed.

Kind regards and Kudos to you!

Irvin

Regarding your second solution... Is there a way for your selection to automatically select the correct element in the Selection Tree? Instead of having to go over to the Selection Tree and move the selection up to the correct element.

Thanks,

John

yes there is.

In Navisworks Home, you go to Select & Search Ribbon, you can see an arrow there and you can pick the selection type you like from there. See the attached image.
