Load Revit 3D View & Floor Plans

I'm trying t reach a side by side view of a 3D view & a 2D floor plan in Navisworks. I have opened an NWD and uploaded the floor plan sheets (DWGs exported from Revit) to the sheets browser. All I could find is the option to find an object in all sheets.

Is there an option to open 2 views in navisworks - one for the 3D view coming from the NWD and one for the 2D floor plan sheet?

Hi Amir,

there are 2 ways to do that, but they both are not perfect.

1 - use Split view tool on View tab. You'll divide one view to two. On one of them use Section tool to make a horizontal cut. But in this case you can't see your drawing.

2 - run 2 Navisworks side-by-side. On one use 3D, on second open your drawing. Save your work in two .nwf files and combine them in one empty model to receive all updates in one file (Home tab - Append - Merge).

*3 - use special software like Revizto. It can automatically overlap 2D drawings to 3D views.
