Dear all,

I am development a document control.

When I run TryOpenFile command, following exeception occurs.

Could anyone give me some hints?

I am using Navisworks Simulate 2014 with 2014 version Api.

Hi John,

is this error reproducible with any model file? if yes, please provide a demo code project. If not, please provide a demo model file. It will be helpful to diagnose the problem.

It will not occur for every model.

Hello John,

I have to say sorry for the delay as I have limited time to help directly on forum.

yes, ADN can log cases through our case system. I saw you did so for the other case, which I will handle a moment later today. In addition, you can still log case on the forum. ADN case is marked, and will be escalated to our case system. This way is what we highly encourage ADN to do.

for this case, if the model is not sensitive, please upload it to a public download link. I can provide you with a FTP invitation.
