topic Image Plane in Mudbox Forum

I am not able to position the image plane behind my object. I have set the depth to 1000 (the max), which should normally work. Because this wasn't working I have attempted to reset all of the regular (perspective, top, etc.) cameras. I have also attempted to create a new camera, to switch to that camera's view, and to create an image plane with a depth of 1000--that also did not work. What do I do? Mudbox 2017; technical support wouldn't assist me since Im a student and don't subscribe.

it depends on the size and scale of your object. if your object is really big you might need to go beyond 1000, like maya you can actually enter a number beyond the set slider amount. Another thing you can try is the shortcut key hold e + right click to adjust depth.
