Hi Vasanth,

thank you for the clarification.

I did a test to add an udb object to excel, and then copy/paste and then import udb to Synergy.

The way @mppkumar suggested works fine (thanks @mppkumar ).

Also what @mppkumar points out regarding material data files extension is important.

thermoplastics material: .21000.udb

reactive (thermoset) material: .20030.udb

So you need also to set the correct process used in Synergy.

A thermoplastics injection molding will not recoginze material import of an reactive material and vice versa.

In Select Material, you can Import. When hitting thar button, to right of file name you can check which data file it is looking for:

I.e. thermoplastics material: *.21000.udb

Regards,

Berndt

Hi @Anonymous,

I am not fully sure of what you mean by having udb-file in excel, but if you have raw data, it needs to be fitted by the Autodesk Plastics Lab, datafitting.

Se this article from Autodesk Network Knowledge (AKN):

Material data is missing in Moldflow material database

Or, if you have the .udb-file :

How to import custom material files into Simulation Moldflow

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Berndt
