What version of the software was that material .udb fitted for? We should not be using a material fit for 2019 in 2023 or 2024. Our material lab in Australia or Beaumont will provide updated material cards for each release for any tested materials not in the public database. These updated .udb files will be sent to whomever paid for the material testing.

Hello,

We're encountering difficulties accessing a UDB file with CRIMS data in the new version. When attempting to access this UDB file in versions 2023 and 2024, the CRIMS data is not visible. However, our material supplier confirms that the CRIMS data is present when accessed in Moldflow 2019.

Could you please assist us in finding a solution to this issue? I also attached the UDB file and image of the file when it was imported into Moldflow 2019 and Moldflow 2023.

Hello @mason.myers,

Thank you for your prompt response. We've requested the material supplier to send the updated file, but it seems they're encountering difficulties in obtaining the Material UDB file compatible with the latest versions, 2023 or 2024. Could you please provide your email ID so I can add you or anyone who will help us in this conversation, or you can respond directly to us referencing Autodesk Case no. 22021412? There are several confidential materials for which we require the UDB file with CRIMS data.

Thank you,
Anmol
