Shared Databases in Moldflow

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to share some databases with other colleagues, e.g. hot runner diameters or valve gate controller properties.

Perhaps it works similiar to this:

If so, where can I find an ovierview of the required windows environment variables?

Hi Jochen,
in tab Tools, you can create new databases, for properties in categories:
Materials
Parameters
Process Conditions
Geometry/Mesh/BC

They are in .udb-file database format, as typical material data set udb.

Each category has a unique number before the .udb-extension.

The udb-files can be stored in common place for team.

The link you provided is explaining how to do this, as all udb-files should be in the same folder if sharing.
No matter what udb-file holds (material data, geometry data e.t.c.)

I just moved the *.udb-file to the shared folder and it worked!

To be honest I didn't think, that it would be that easy.
