    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Moldflow Users,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am using PEEK family material with 40% Carbon Fiber Filled.&lt;BR /&gt;Their mechanical&amp;nbsp; properties are as below.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="adevadkar_0-1727234138975.png" style="width: 600px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/1413647i7BA212DCAD29A263/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="adevadkar_0-1727234138975.png" alt="adevadkar_0-1727234138975.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;using automatic shrinkage compensation&amp;nbsp; I am getting around 1% shrinkage&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;but as per material data sheet its 0.1%&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I wanted to understand how mechanical properties were used in calculation of warpage. &lt;P&gt;For a 3D mesh, we will use these mechanical properties for warpage calculations.&amp;nbsp; Because that text is in red, this indicates that the mechanical data is a supplemental average within that material family.&amp;nbsp; You might see more accurate results with a material with tested mechanical properties for that specific material.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here is some information on the shrinkage models and the 3D uncorrected stress:&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1810719"&gt;@adevadkar&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;I just wanted to add about using Estimated shrinkage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You mention using automatic shrinkage compensation, which I understand as using deflection properties&lt;BR /&gt;using Estimated shrinkage, Option Automatic.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now, this is just Estimated shrinkage. Should be used with care.&lt;BR /&gt;A deflection of part shape could affect the outcome.&lt;BR /&gt;If outer edges bends more in an axis direction the estimated shrinkage could become higher in that direction.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do some examine of points at relevant positions. (Could change drop-down to Coordinate + Shrinkage in Deflection Query dialog.)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I think this actually helps to understand this a bit more, even if sounds a bit off topic.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Deflection-results-showing-0-shrinkage-compensation-when-set-to-automatic-in-Moldflow.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Deflection results showing 0% shrinkage compensation when set to automatic in Moldflow&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Berndt&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;We use different warpage solvers between Midplane/Dual Domain and 3D.&amp;nbsp; 3D would use mechanical properties while MP/DD would use shrinkage or CRIMS data (if available).&lt;/P&gt;
