meshmixer not exporting entire file...help

Hi all, my question is after I fix my file of a helmet in meshmixer I then export it to a stl file.

Once I load it to my slicer in cura it only shows sections of the helmet( center section missing) and automatically puts the bottom back onto it even after I have remove it and saved it. Thanks for any help. Still trying to learn this.

Again digging in darkness:

Does ANALYSIS/Inspector detect some mesh issues? Repair them first.

Are there flipped faces indicated by a stripe pattern on your mesh?

Is it a large file you're trying to export? It may have happened that you opened the file in Cura while MM still was writing to it.

Is your scene composed of several objects? If yes: If you want to export all objects to a single file you need to set Preferences>File tab>WhatToExport to ExportWholeScene via menu.

If that's not the reason: Did you try to export as OBJ? Cura can read OBJ too.

Thanks for the tips. Found out it was because of not going threw the inspector. Guess where I wanted holes in the helmet wont work like I had planned. I was able to fill them in and that worked.
