I'm editing a large mesh - 6M triangles. I would like to apply an adaptive remesh operation to the entire mesh. However the default Remesh settings produce a mesh which is so large it crashes the program.

I would like a way to PREVENT Meshmixer from automatically computing the remesh operation while I'm still entering the settings I'd like to use.

It seems like this feature is only available for the "Make Solid" operation. Is there any way to enable it for all other operations as well?

We have all be asking for that for a while. No luck.

The work around for it is to select only a few triangles, set the settings
so they get locked in place within a MM session. Then select everything and
remesh.
