Arnold Renderer not an option

Hi,

I use Maya2018 (student version) I tried to update to 2019 but my surface can't handle it so I re-installed 2018. I noticed that in the renderer tab, I don't have the Arnold option anymore? Viewport 2.0 is still there but no Arnold.

I went into the plugin manager and made sure that mtoa.mll was enabled but it still isn't showing up.

Is this because I need to update the software or is it (hopefully) a quick fix?

You will have an old version of MtoA (the one that was available at the time Maya 2018 shipped), so you can get a newer version from https://www.arnoldrenderer.com/arnold/download

But if MtoA doesn't load when you try to load it from the Plug-In Manager, then you have to check the script editor for errors (and then Google them).
