topic Issue rendering a Bifrost cloud using arnold in Maya Shading, Lighting and Rendering Forum

I wasnt sure which forum to put this under, so I hope this is the right one.

I've been messing with bifrost for the last few days trying to make some halfway decent clouds, when I came upon the new-ish Bifrost graph editor and all the pre made stuff that comes with that. Well I like the results you can get out of the clouds, but for some reason there's a real problem when it comes to rendering them. And for some reason its only the cloud preset, all the smoke and fire presets ive tried work just fine.

The cloud specifically is rendering with huge black spots almost like its cutting chunks out of it, as well as some odd fine lines almost like a seam. I've posted a render I got from just the default settings with a skydome light on default intensity.

Any insight would be helpful.
