Hi everyone! I'm doing Minecraft animation.

I have unchecked the opaque on all meshes, checked thin wall, import my alpha file on geometry setting and set all filters to 'off' or closest'. Any help will be good thanks!

My texture on the diffuse setting are okay. Only the texture on the opacity at geometry setting that was blurred out on render.

Trying to replicate your case I used lambert shader and it seemed it doesn't work for alpha. However, things started to work when connected to the Arnold shader, file.outColorR->aiStandardSurface.transmission. Worked with aiImage too.

And, you might wish to turn back the Filter option in the RenderSettings, as it is more related to how geo is rendered, not the textures i.e. in your image cube edges seem aliased.

Well I think it worked. The edges were not blurred. But I'm still new to this.. How do I totally remove the glassy-ness feeling completely so the face (inner mesh) can be seen 100% visibly?

I have removed the connection for the opacity. So it just "Thin Walled" are checked and the opacity is at white.

I guess, it could be Specularity section related, try either Weight or Color.

okay I solved it.

I upscaled my Minecraft alpha (black and white) texture to 1024 x 1024. Originally were 64 x 64.

I imported my alpha texture back into the opacity setting.

Removed the transmission setting. (It worked. There were no blurred edges. But the glassy-feeling outlook I couldn't get rid of it..)

Yeah it just upscale the resolution of the Minecraft texture. The blurry edges were gone once it up-res. I hope it helps everyone here.
