      <title>Help With Alpha Chanel</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello everyone my name is Victor&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have triuble with alpha chanel, in maya&amp;nbsp; (arnold) I have some Planes , i applied a&amp;nbsp; texture with alpha chanel but all i get is a&amp;nbsp; black&amp;nbsp; square with texture , i have&amp;nbsp; unmarked the opaque option, but it just dont help i need it transparent because it is supouse to be leaves, please can someone help me to udnerstand how to properly render with alpha chanel.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks by Your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Greetings&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. Don't confuse Alpha (TIF)&amp;nbsp; with Transparency (PNG)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Make sure to use an Arnold Material&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Use File node and not PSDFile node.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For further help please upload the scene-file (+ the texture).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, Yrah i read that post, before it helped me for render but now i mean for&amp;nbsp; viewport, transparency Works with blinn, Albert, phong but not with ai standard Surface, Life for example a previs with playbast&amp;nbsp; it looks black&amp;nbsp; square, but in render is fine.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Correct, and therefore this is the solution (which also works for other renderers and shaders where a feature you need is not supported in Viewport 2.0):&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;"set one material for Maya and an other for Arnold"&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
