I'm new to rendering with Arnold and the past 3 times that I've put a sequence to render overnight after I left work (on GPU), I came back the next day to see that Maya had crashed and the sequence was halfway done, maybe a total of 90 minutes worth of render time. This is becoming a pattern and it's a major problem cause I lose precious render time that I can't recover during the day.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Understood!
I'll enable logging for the next sequence tonight and post the results on Monday if the crash happens again.

I've doubled the memory on the computer, updated Arnold plugin to latest version, updated nvidia drivers to latest version. Maya is freezing after rendering a few hundred frames. No reason written in the logs. I tried to open the script editor this morning and it made it crash. I'll try to render today to see if this repeats in front of me and maybe something will show on the console. One thing I noticed is that Maya progressively eats up more memory as the render goes on. It starts at 22% and goes to 80-90% of 64gb when I check back in the morning. Not sure why, or if it's related.

I seem to have found the root of the problem! I was rendering to an external SSD (Sandisk Extreme 4TB SSD) and Maya didn't like it for some reason. I switched the rendering destination path to an internal drive, and I finally got an uninterrupted render of 1800 frames over the weekend.
