Customise Content Browser UI

Hello,

I'd like to modify the Content Browser, creating more context menu options, in addition to the existing, Import and Create Reference.

Is it possible to customise any aspect of the Content Browser UI?

Any help is very much appreciated.

What I typically do when I want to expand or alter a Maya UI is to make a copy of the script and rename it to another folder. Then I'm free to do whatever I want without changing the default Maya script.

I'm actually looking for the script or scripts I need to change, in order to modify the Content Browser UI. I found a few Content Browser Scripts inside Maya Installation folder, but none of them offer options that allow me to modify any aspects of its UI, other than the default folder location, used to show files.
